Special gifts to Capital University, either honoring a significant event of someone living, or memorializing someone who has passed away, provide valuable support to the University and serve as a lasting tribute to your family member, friend, or colleague.

How to Give in Memory

If you would like to make a gift in honor of or in memory of someone, please use our Donation Form.

Be sure to indicate the necessary information so that the appropriate person(s) will be notified of your gift. For honorees, be sure to identify the individual being honored, the contact person that you would like to be notified of your gift, and, if appropriate, the occasion. For gifts made in memoriam, your name and address is automatically sent to the surviving spouse or whoever is listed as a contact for the deceased. If there is a another family member or contact person that you would like to be notified of your gift, please include their name and address as well as their relationship to the deceased on the Donation Form (PDF). Gift amounts will always remain anonymous.
